Creatinine Reagents
This reagent kit is used for in-vitro quantitative determination of Creatinine in human serum, plasma and Urine.
Method: Creatinine reagents use a modified Jaffe reaction-based method to quantify creatinine levels in human serum, plasma, and urine. In the Jaffe reaction, creatinine reacts with picric acid in an alkaline medium, forming a coloured complex whose intensity is measured photometrically. The colour intensity is directly proportional to creatinine concentration, allowing accurate assessment of kidney function and aiding in the diagnosis of renal disorders.
