Test Principle

• The microwells are pre-coated with anti-HBsAg antibodies.
• Samples and controls are added; HBsAg (if present) binds to these antibodies.
• Enzyme-conjugated secondary antibodies then bind to the complex.
• After washing, TMB substrate is added; a blue colour forms in positive wells.
• The reaction is stopped and read spectrophotometrically at 450/630 nm.
